It's 1:30am here (1:30pm) back home and luckily all are sleeping like it's night time. Neko just woke, hence why I'm up so that we'd post a quick update on the flight. It was long...but surprisingly both girls did really well. Love how you get treated on a major airline. Didn't need to pack anything for Maëlle! She got a blanket and buddy stuffed toy, and a whole case of activity stuff and toys. Not to mention her own touch screen tv with every Disney movie ever made. Needless to say she was happy! Neko even got a baby case with toy, bib, wipes etc and baby food. She did pretty good in the bassinet but it didn't leave much room for rolling around.
Sooo thankful to get off the plane to be greeted by someone holding up our names! She helped get us through the airport and connected us to our driver. So stress free. Both Neko and Maëlle were pretty excited by the pretty lights and amazingly high and fancy ceilings of the airport (quite different from our Seattle landing experience, but that's another story!)
The city skyline was pretty spectacular at night. Very tall cool looking buildings. All settled in our hotel, will be fun to discover what's around us in the daylight.
Now our adventure truly begins!
