...except it was Saturday! With the weekend here being Friday-Saturday we enjoyed a typical Sunday kind of day - sleeping in, lounging in our pj's, then going for Saturday brunch. We chose a place that caters to kids and was close by.
Maëlle loved the bounce house and getting her face painted. Oh and the sushi! Think she ate about 4 California Rolls and even figured out once how to pick up a piece of sushi with her chopsticks in one hand. Good thing for the bounce house because I think she had 3 little cakes and 2 mini whoopie pies from the mini size kid's buffet.
The selection of food was overwhelming and all so delicious. The dessert/pastry section was enough to keep anyone happy never mind the giant stations of sushi, or stir fry, or roast meats and fish. Even a giant pig's leg on display...in the specially marked non Muslim pork section! Bryan and Lisa you guys would have loved the canisters of gummies and candies. The best too was if you didn't see it, just ask and they have it or will make it!
Neko sat for over two hours (in her Stokke highchair) continuously eating and taking in the balloons and people around her, including the parent & child pancake cooking competition.
It was lots of fun and a special treat. Finished by walking some of it off at the Marina and having a long late afternoon swim.
