We couldn't come all this way and not do this iconic slide. As the website describes it "27.5m tall and 61m long, from the top of the Ziggurat the Leap of Faith catapults riders into a transparent tunnel and through a shark-filled lagoon, where guitar sharks, bow mouth sharks, white tip, black tip and grey reef sharks all reside." Not that I could see any of the sharks, the splash of water to slow me down after traveling 19 feet/second blinded me!!
It was a great thrill and such a fun day. More to come on our adventure there!
Walking home Doug and I talked about the Amazing Race as I remember that episode well when they had to go down it and one girl couldn't do it. Lisa and Shawna said "I can't believe her boyfriend was going to push her." And I responded "I can't believe he didn't"!! Heehee There are just some things you'd have to agree upon before pairing up to do the race:
A- must be willing to pee yourself
B- must be willing to shave head
C- must be willing to bungy jump or do activities like taking the leap of faith!
Awesome! I would need you to push me for sure. But for a million bucks? Who wouldn't do that?
